1What this is
We wrote first drafts so nobody has to start from a blank page. We wrote too much. Take what is useful, mark up what is wrong, and ignore the rest. Nothing here is decided.
The goal is simple: BSV passes US institutional due diligence. The association asks nobody for money. The only cash it needs is the filing fees, and the organizers cover them. We will not rename the chain or ticker, sue an exchange, or run pressure campaigns.
2Three things we would love from you this week
- Read what has your name on it.
- Tell us what is wrong.
- Say what you would rather not do. That is a fine answer.
3Where you might help, if you have the time
These are offers, not assignments.
| person | where you might help | worth reading first |
|---|---|---|
| BSV Esq. | state choice, articles, bylaws | articles of incorporation, bylaws |
| GloboSphere | antitrust and conflict-of-interest policies, the registry's legal questions | both policies |
| OldCraig | a sanity check on the books and filings | budget and finance |
| Gavin | the Robinhood contact, the legal half of the data room | data room index, claims ledger |
| John Calhoun | Director, named contact and signer; the technical work | everything |
| Nancy | founder; outreach; the weekly Space | communications |
4What we hope to build
A simple membership roll where each verified person gets one vote and the results can be checked on the BSV chain. John is building it on his own time, at his own cost, and the group can shape it.
5The technical side
John runs his own program that checks BSV software against a machine-readable specification. He offers it to the association free, and discloses that interest under the conflict-of-interest policy.
